who am i?

Well, for starters, I am a baby! I'm very new and everything is so strange out here so maybe that's why I cry a lot. But I'm not a big cryer, no way! I just cry enough to let my mommy and daddy know that I'm here and need to be carried.

So enough about me, let me tell you about my old world vs. the new one. I used to be inside of my mommy's tummy where everything was very safe and warm. I didn't want to leave! But everyone kept knocking on the tummy door so eventually I had to come out... what a shock it was! It was sooooo cold and it felt very strange to not have something warm around me all the time. So I just cried. My new world is very funny. First there are lots of loud sounds and funny aliens who look at me and sing really loud. I admit, it makes me stop crying because they look so silly that it entertains me!

I can't wait to walk and talk so that I can tell you these things in person. I'm also looking forward to meeting my furry cousin... I think her name is Ella (Fitzgerald!) I hear that she's a very gentle puppy and that she can't wait to be my new best friend.
